Thanks for adding ProjectSpaces to your list. FYI we just added online Gantt chart functionality and some other nice new features. As always though, we've tried to keep things really simple for folks with little patience for complexity.

Thanks for putting this list together. Agree with you that the space is really cluster. We decided to go with the Q at http://www.santexq.com/ and so far we are very happy. They now announced the release of the fully integrated billing feature which will go full circle for us. Hopefully they will keep it free. In any case, we will be happy to pay for the tool.

Thanks.
Jim.

Shame you think 'no Gantt chart' disqualifies Huddle. We have tons of good stuff in there.

Re Gantt, we are working on it and you will definitely have some sort of Gantt charteresque way of linking tasks soon. Watch this space! And thanks for including us.

You're welcome, Joe. Don't get me wrong, TimeXchange.net is great at tracking time. If I was in another position that tracked time regularly I would probably use it. I just feel that in a software development environment tracking time, especially to the minute, makes for disgruntled developers and reduced productivity.

Thanks for including TimeXchange.net in your search for the perfect online project management tool, though what we are really about is supporting project management (and payroll, and billing, and compliance, etc.).

Time reporting and approval is a pre-process and that is what we provide. If you need project management, than I agree that MS Project is the market leader for a reason. But if you're one of the millions of people who email spreadsheets around or who really want to simply and improve time reporting and approval, then TimeXchange.net was built for you.

I guess you could say we're just the right amount "timeclockish" for time reporting and approval.
